This is the most popular soft-pink pigment in the Brovi lip line. It has a neutral color temperature and contains minimal titanium dioxide, making it ideal for clients seeking a natural-looking enhancement. Not recommended for use neat on cool-toned lips—mix it 1:1 with Salted Caramel for best results.

Are Brovi pigments considered organic or inorganic?

Brovi pigments are classified as hybrid pigments, meaning they include both organic and inorganic ingredients. It's a common misconception to think that organic equals good and inorganic equals bad. In reality, both types of components serve essential purposes.

Organic ingredients are the result of chemical synthesis, while inorganic ones are derived from natural minerals and undergo processing for use.

Most modern pigment brands use hybrid formulations for enhanced performance and color stability.

Do Brovi pigments contain iron oxides?

Yes, Brovi pigments contain iron oxides due to their hybrid nature. This includes a mix of both organic and inorganic elements. Iron oxides are safe, widely used, and not something to be concerned about.

They are common in many everyday products—from cosmetic pigments to perfumes and even food. For instance, yellow iron oxide is frequently found in makeup foundations.

Specifically, Brovi uses red iron oxide labeled CI7491 in their formulas.

Is there titanium dioxide in Brovi pigments?

Yes. Like most pigments on the market (except black pigments), Brovi pigments do contain titanium dioxide—but in very small amounts.

The percentage is less than 4.8%, and it's listed last in the formula, indicating minimal concentration. Plus, the titanium dioxide used is finely dispersed, making it safe and appropriate for use on facial skin.
